WHO DO I SELL TICKETS TO?

It is our hope that each family purchase or sell at least 1 ticket. We also suggest contacting family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to create interest in our raffle opportunity. Up to 4 names may be entered per ticket. Total winnings will be split evenly among the names listed on the ticket. Don’t Delay! The short timeline means you need to purchase tickets right away! Please join us in doing your part to make this year’s Red Sled Raffle a great success.

Deadline to purchase online tickets is December 1 at 9:00 p.m. or when SOLD OUT! Tickets will also be available for purchase from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at in-person event on December 3.

Eligibility/To Enter: The raffle is open to individuals who are at least 21 years of age. Tickets cost $100 a piece. To enter, eligible entrants must purchase one or more raffle tickets for the raffle at any time during the entry period.

Selection of Winners: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be randomly selected in the drawing on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. at live event. Winner must acknowledge acceptance of their prize to sponsor by Thursday, December 7, 2023 or prize may be forfeited. Odds of winning $15,000 depends on number of entries. No more than 300 tickets will be sold.

Prize: Grand Prize Winner will receive half of the total, amount of money generated from raffle ticket sales. The remaining money generated from the ticket sales will go toward Ogden Avenue School PTC. Winner will be randomly selected by sponsor or sponsors representative. Sponsor will attempt to notify winner based on contact information provided to sponsor with the entry. Entrants are solely responsible for providing sponsor with accurate and updated information. Sponsor, its affiliated entities and personnel are not responsible for incorrect, incomplete or illegible contact information provided by entrants. Winner must acknowledge acceptance of the prize to sponsor within seventy-two (72) hours of sponsors attempted notification, and may be required to complete and return within such time period an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release. If, for any reason, a potential winner is ineligible, unable or unwilling to accept the prize then the potential winner may be disqualified and forfeit the prize. An alternate winner may be selected by sponsor in sponsors sole discretion at random from among all eligible non-winning entries received; in such event, the disqualified potential winner will not be awarded an alternative prize. A winners right to a prize is non-transferable and may not be assigned. No substitution of prize will be permitted. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize.

General Terms: By participating in this raffle, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and all decisions of sponsor, which shall be binding and final. Sponsor and its affiliated entities are not responsible for printing, distribution, production or other errors that may affect the raffle. Its operation, or its integrity, and may rescind, cancel or revoke this raffle based on such error and without liability by refunding all tickets purchased. Entry constitutes permission to use winners name and likeness in any and all media or venues now or hereafter known in perpetuity for advertising and/or promotional purposes without further remuneration (except where prohibited by law). Each entrant, including each winner, agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless sponsor, their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates and each of their respective employees, representatives and agents, (collectively, the “released parties”) from and against any liability, claims, actions, losses or damages arising in any way from participation in or Administration of this raffle or acceptance, failure to accept, receipt, ownership, use or misuse of any prize. To the extent that some provisions may not be applicable in whole or in part, the liability of the released parties shall be limited to the fullest maximum extent permitted by law, including, where permitted, eliminated altogether. Entrants agree that (1) under no circumstance will an entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this raffle, but in no event attorneys’ fees. Sponsor respects your privacy, and entrants’ information will not be used expect by sponsor, and as otherwise provided in these official rules. Raffle is subject to the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute in connection with these official rules or this raffle shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts in Chicago, Illinois. Entrants consent to jurisdiction in such courts.

Winner List: Winner name and winning ticket number will be published on sponsors website. To obtain a copy of the winners name, send your request in writing along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Ogden Avenue School ATTN: Ogden PTC Raffle Winner, 501 West Ogden Avenue, La Grange, IL 60525-1850.
